This bulletin makes recommendations related to the capabilities of ATSC 3.0 television sets when it comes to content recovery of watermarked content. The use of watermarked A/V content allows ATSC 3.0 television sets to recover service information via broadband in order to provide the benefits of the ATSC 3.0 system, such as broadcaster applications and enhanced emergency alerting, in redistribution environments where ATSC 3.0 service information is not available.
