Guiding Principles of Practice and Transparency for Mobile Health Solutions (CTA-2073)
The explosion of digital health tools such as connected trackers and mobile health apps have given consumers an unprecedented ability to more easily monitor basic health & fitness, while providing consistent information for providers and loved one’s to help establish trends and patterns. As these products and services have evolved, so too has the interest from medical practitioners to leverage these solutions for ongoing guidance and assessment purposes. This standard is to provide a voluntary framework for practice and transparency when developing non-medical mobile health solutions (including both software applications and Health & Fitness Devices).
