Recommendations for Portable Power Charging Markings (ANSI/CTA-2077)

With the large number of powerbanks available on the market, there needs to be consistency for consumers to know what to expect when using a portable powerbank. Consumers need to understand how many times they can charge their smartphone, how fast can they charge their smartphone, and even whether they can charge a tablet or laptop with a powerbank.

The goal of this standard is to provide guidance to manufacturers for consistent product markings for consumer use.
